We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to fill a Full-Time position as a Lending Center Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the AVP Member Services , this position is responsible for achieving organizational goals. Is accountable for obtaining a total loan goal for a combination of products including but not limited to equity loans, direct auto loans, payroll advances, shared secured loans and student loans. In addition to the above specific products, the Sales Team is responsible for selling ancillary products as well such as GAP, MRC, and Payment Protection.

This position is also responsible for the leadership of staff by coaching, monitoring sales activity in relation to meeting / exceeding goal attainment, and acting as a main level of support and supervision.

Additionally, ensures that the Lending Consultants provide a high level of prompt, efficient, friendly member service and that complete and accurate information is available to members through this source.

Duties:1. Monitors departmental standards and sales goals, including phone statistics and production. Monitors call volume in the queue to ensure that calls are answered quickly and efficiently throughout the day.

2. Provides appropriate remedial when goals are not achieved by staff.

3. Regularly meets with VP to keep him/her informed regarding departmental issues/problems.


4. Evaluates staff performance and completes employee reviews in a timely manner, (i.e. quarterly and annual).

5. Handles complex and non-routine telephone inquiries for all areas of the Sales Center. Must have knowledge of all Telhio�s products and services including payroll and ACH.


6. Establish and maintain a sales culture within the department.

7. Provides regular feedback to employees on individual progress toward goals and performance.

8. Ensures all goals assigned and communicated to staff at minimal on an annual basis and when changes arise.

9. Trains staff to handle difficult or complex calls. Prepares and updates training and procedure manuals. Provides training for new employees in the department.

10. Continuously cross-trains staff to ensure backup for all department functions.

11. Ensures proper levels of staffing and supervision on a daily basis.

12. Accurately tracks and reports attendance for staff.

13. Reviews electronic timecards for accuracy and approves payroll on a bi-weekly basis.

14. Calculate and load employee sales incentives

15. Conducts coaching sessions with team members to review goals and status, helping them share successes and overcome objections

16. Readily available to assist in queue during peak periods. This includes both telephone and online loan queues.

17. Responsible for compliance with all required regulations and polices, especially with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures and regulations.

18. Performs all other duties as assigned or required to ensure member service standards are met.

19. Able to multi-task. Take applications and work up loan requests from a variety of sources, such as member call-ins, non-member call ins, leads from the call center, branch referrals, lobby loans, loans on line, Loan Link and third party bank referrals.

20. Responsible for compliance with all required regulations and polices, in particular with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures and regulations.

21. Knowledge of various loan products, including overdraft lines of credit, new & used vehicle loans, RV, motorcycle and boat loans, signature loans, personal secured loans, property improvement loans, unsecured loan and lines of credit (LOC), share secured loans, stock secured loans, home equity loans, home equity lines of credit and home equity simultaneous closings loans and lines.

22. Effectively communicate back the Retail Branches, Call Center, and any other referring sources on updates.

23. Work with Retail Branches and Call Center on continuous improvement in processes to provide the best member service possible.

24. Able to complete daily loan reporting, daily call monitoring reports, end of month sales reporting, monthly call reporting, employee commission report, GAP, MRC & Loan Liner reporting, quarterly risk management reporting, attendance reporting, monthly one-on-one sales reviews, quarterly employee reviews, procedure reports, business development reports and annual reviews.

25. Responsible for direction and managing of all the consumer loan documents processing at all the various branch locations.

26. Responsible for the direct and managing of the quality control (QC) portion of all the loan documents which close at all the various branch locations.

27. Able to work extended hours including evenings and Saturdays to accomplish essential functions of this position.

28. Creates positive public relations with the members, branches, service center and third party referrals while creating addition opportunities / referral sources through business development.
Qualifications:� 3 to 4 years prior lending experience specifically in the areas of Auto lending, equity lending, and shared secured lending.

� 3 to 4 years experience with banking product sales and product referral.

� 3 to 4 years prior experiences leading a department or branch

� 1 to 2 years prior experience coaching and counseling staff.

� Must have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.

� Requires strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

� Handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines regularly.

� Organize and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision.

� Skills in interviewing and selling loan alternatives desired.

� Some experience or understanding of loan processing and underwriting.

� Ability to motivate, monitor and coach employees required.

� Must demonstrate a high level of problem solving and decision making skills.

� Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding member and personnel activities. Extensive knowledge in all areas of the Credit Union preferred.

� Strong computer/PC skills along with ability to operate standard office equipment such as copier and calculator.

� 3 to 4 years of experience with MS products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

� High School Diploma/ GED required.

� Telhio applicants must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.
